Districts of Exchange

Districts of chartered Exchange Clubs were established in 1966 for the purpose of advancing the building of local Exchange Clubs, increasing fellowship between clubs within the district, strengthening established clubs, and promoting the participation of local Exchange Clubs in the Program of Service of The National Exchange Club. Each district is under the jurisdiction of The National Exchange Club. The Exchange Clubs located within the geographical boundaries of a district are members of that district and subject to its bylaws. The officers at the district level are similar to those at the national level. There are a district president, district president-elect, district treasurer, district secretary and immediate past district president. The latter succeeds to the office and others arc elected annually at the district convention. The terms of all officers are for one year or until their respective successors have been elected and installed.
