The National Exchange Club

As previously mentioned, The National Exchange Club is a nonprofit corporation, organized and operated exclusively for an educational purpose. Its officers arc a national president, national president-elect, national treasurer, executive vice president and an immediate past national president, who succeeds to the office. The terms of all officers, with the exception of the national treasurer and executive vice president, are for one year or until their successors have been elected and assume office. The executive vice president's term of office is fixed by the executive committee and the national treasurer is elected at the national convention and serves a two-year term of office.

The management and policies of The National Exchange Club arc under the direction of the board of directors. The board is composed of' the officers and 12 regional vice presidents elected by the accredited delegates at the annual convention holding membership within their respective regions. At each annual convention, six regional vice-presidents are elected to serve for two years. The National Exchange Club meets annually for a convention at a time and place designated by the board of directors. Each chartered Exchange Club in good standing is entitled to representation at each annual convention.
